When i had my daughter i started using cloth nappies from when she was 3 months old, a bulky bum and store bought clothing didnt go well for us! From there i searched far and wide to find suitable clothing to allow enough room for the extra bulk, it was then i realised i could make my own! (The photo above is the first pair of leggings i had ever made!)

I had been sewing for 4 years before i made my own piece of clothing, i never needed to until i had my first child. After lots of practice, broken needles and feeling helpless using a regular home sewing machine i bought my first ever serger! This was an absolute game changer, i could sew things up so much quicker and with less of a headache at the end of it :)

Now i have 3 machines and my children have a wardrobe full of bright and colourful clothing!
